Beard Vape Co

With a name that sounds like something ZZ Top would have come up with and flavours which top the vaping charts, Beard Vape is the rock ‘n’ roll brand of the vaping world. So, if you have been tearing your hair out searching for impressive flavour, your troubles are now over!

Beard Vape’s rise to fame has been, to say the least, meteoric. Now an iconic brand, the company’s e liquids are legendary in spite of the fact that they don’t actually have names! Whilst other organisations search for funky monikers and strive to create huge collections, Beard Vape have chosen to number their juices instead and offer a mere handful of flavours. It is a unique approach but one which has resonated with vapers around the world.

Bad Hair Day for Beard Vape

Brothers Bradey and Casey Bates began their adventure by opening a vape shop in Culver City, California which boasted a welcoming, local bar feel. It was the sort of establishment where anyone could drop by to socialise and the shop offered several brands of e liquid. Nana’s Vape Shop was named after the Bates’ much-loved grandmother to honour her legacy. With an open door policy and food on Sundays for those who wanted to watch the football, the shop was hugely popular.

But Nana’s Vape Shop had its limitations. By 2014 the family business had ceased expanding and it looked like the venture may have run its course. The shop was having something of a bad hair day! Then the brothers and their best friend Colby Pfund decided that it would be a good idea to create their own flavours to sell. They set about mixing juice at the back of the shop and produced 100 recipes to test on their existing clientele. These were numbered to identify them.

Hot Fuzz

The boys kept an eye on which of their recipes were proving to be the most popular. Three were chosen to form a new range of e liquids, No. 05, No.32 and No.88 but the team needed to name them. As the vapers who visited the shop were now used to asking for their favourites by number, it seemed best to stick with the system.

The beard e liquid flavours were proving to be hot picks and numbering them was definitely a cool move but the Bates crew needed the right brand name too.

Keep Your Hair On

When Grandpa Bates was in hospital being treated for heart problems, Brady and Casey Bates’ father vowed not to cut his beard off until Grandpa was better. He stuck to his word and kept his hair on! His boys then started to refer to him as “beard”. No surprise then, that the search for a brand name resulted in the nickname being suggested as a good choice.

Beard Vape Co was born and the beard juice soon featured the simple yet instantly recognisable logo. These days, Bradey, Casey and Coby are following the family tradition in every way and all have beards of their own.

Never a Hair Out of Place with Beard Vape

Cool branding and the originality of the numbered flavours helped Beard Vape to garner attention but the company would not have enjoyed such sustained success unless it offered amazing juice.

Hundreds of recipes have been tested over the last three years but only a select few have made the grade and now carry the distinctive silhouette of the Beard E Juice brand. It is a small but cohesive collection of diverse flavours and there is something to please every vaper. The base liquid ratios of the e liquids vary and are chosen to suit each recipe. Combining superlative flavour with generous clouds, the Beard Vape juice range does not have a hair out of place.
